People Over Robots: The Global Economy Needs Immigration Before Automation

A systemic consideration of the value of technological solutions labor and productivity shortages, the author challenges the inevitability and efficacy of technological development to fill labor shortages. He makes the case that greater labor mobility could better serve both national and global objectives for improving living conditions at home and more than most international aid interventions.
