Aarti Shah, CEO of Co-REGEN, guides businesses and programmes towards achieving environmental, climate and social impact through renewable energy, regenerative agriculture, and circularity. She specialises in south-south co-operation, frugal innovation, and reverse engineering. She is particularly adept at taking research out of the valley of death and into industry, and enabling action where there has previously been intransigence. This is no better exemplified than through her leadership of the ongoing UNIDO Accelerate-to-Demonstrate Greener Tea project to introduce biomass gasification into the Kenyan tea sector.
