Climate Landscapes

With our conferences, webinars and other events on national and international level we bring attention to and educate farmers, scientists and other stakeholders on methods of regenerative agriculture and land management.
Having organised these events since 2017, the initiators Stefan Schwarzer, Burkhard Kayser, Manuel Nagel and other enthusiasts founded the non-profit organisation „Aufbauende Landwirtschaft e.V.“ (‚ressource building agriculture‘) in 2020 Germany.
We are striving for a climate resilient, biodiverse and social just land use. To reach this, our main focus lies on the support for the community of practice who wish to implement methods of regenerative agriculture and land management. For them, but including other stakeholders as well, we create spaces for networking opportunities and knowledge transfer.
Furthermore we want to increase awareness of the interrelationships of land use methods, the atmosphere and climate change. In this way we hope to contribute to the urgent changes which are needed in our world.
Network Climate Landscapes
In 2021 we started the network Climate Landscapes with a couple of engaged professionals - from farmers to networkers, from scientists to consultants. To draw attention to the interwoven natural relationships of vegetation, healthy soils and water cycles we organised a german speaking conference in December 2021, which built bridges between multiple themes as well as between researchers, entrepeneurs, farmers, foresters, local and national authorities, and others.
We believe that a systemic approach is most important to answer climate change and the disturbed water cycles. For that reason we want to connect and inform the different stakeholders from countries all over the world on our conference ‚Climate Landscapes‘.
